Reports on projects on Codornices and Cerrito Creeks, as well as many other California restoration projects, have been prepared by students in
U.C. Berkeley ‘s course, Restoration of Rivers and Streams, taught since 1992 in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning. Reports from 2003 to 2013, presented at the annual Berkeley River Restoration Symposium, are archived here.
Here are some that focused on post-project appraisal — that is, did the project meet its goals, and what other effects did it have. Sincere thanks to Professor Matt Kondolf and other instructors in this course for for their efforts in trying to evaluate results of restoration projects while teaching valuable professional skills.
